1600 W. Fulton Market
1600 W. Fulton Market is a proposed new development at the corner of Ashland Avenue and Fulton Market, within mHUB’s 72 acre, $1.4 billion M+ Innovation District on Chicago’s West Side. Developed by Peppercorn Capital, an early investor and developer in the Kinzie Industrial Corridor, the project is envisioned as a flexible, forward looking environment for technology, advanced manufacturing, research and product development. The building will reflect the corridor’s industrial character while contributing a distinctive new presence along Ashland Avenue.
Part of the M+ Innovation District
M+ is mHUB’s proposed 72 acre innovation and advanced manufacturing district in Chicago’s Kinzie Industrial Corridor. Envisioned as a major center for hardtech, research, product development and commercialization, the district is intended to bring together startups, established technology companies, manufacturers, researchers and workforce development programs within a connected urban campus. The initiative is expected to attract approximately $1.4 billion in public and private investment. Early planning and predevelopment have received support from prominent philanthropic organizations, including the Pritzker Traubert Foundation, Builders Vision, the Chicago Blackhawks Foundation, Good Chaos and the Richard H. Driehaus Foundation.
mHUB is a Chicago based innovation center focused on hardtech, advanced manufacturing and physical product development. Through its laboratories, prototyping resources, industry partnerships and venture programs, mHUB helps companies move new technologies from concept through commercialization and production. M+ extends that mission across a much larger district, with the goal of establishing the Kinzie Industrial Corridor as a nationally significant center for innovation, advanced manufacturing and technology commercialization.
